A small question: what is the proper amount to tip a curbside pickup man? Do you use the same rule as waiters and waitresses? Checking a single bag costs about $25 so your tip would be about $4.50 if you followed that rule. That seems to be quite a lot for picking up a bag, setting it on a scale, and informing you the cost is $25, especially considering that checking bags used to be free. (Still is if you fly Southwest.) But I still feel as if I’ve under tipped. I’m a poor college student. I don’t know what he expected.
