Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter (1/2 a stick)
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup corn syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecans

 

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients in a big bowl.
  2. Stir.
  3. Pour into pie crust
  4. Bake on 450 degrees for 10 minutes
  5. Bake on 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until the filling stops being runny

 

Seriously, that’s it.  I was really surprised by how easy pie really is.
